The Infamous Masterson’s , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my recent visit at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I discovered behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The Condition of the Premises : Squalid and Disregarded
From the moment I walked in , it was evident that hygiene was not a priority at this establishment . The floors were sticky , and a nauseating aroma of stale beer and filthy restrooms filled the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , putrefaction and sour vomit . The bar area , which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and litter that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The restroom was in even worse condition —overflowing , with a shattered handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was human waste .
